Calculating implied column height above FWL

On this dialog, calculate the implied column height above the FWL for each (facies) class and the associated fluid compartments. Click on the icon on the Saturation Functions form to access the dialog. JewelSuite Subsurface Modeling uses the input maximum capillary pressure (Pc Max) and fluid properties (i.e. fluid densities, interfacial tensions and the angle of contact) from the fluid model to calculate the implied column height above the FWL.

  1. Enter the Pc Max value on this dialog, or on the Saturation Functions form.
  2. Select the fluid Compartment from the drop -down list.
  3. View the resulting Implied column height above FWL (read only). Click Apply to save the results and keep the dialog open, or click OK to save the results and close the dialog.
